Reports to: Agency Owner

Pay: $60,000 - $85,000 (Salary + Commissions)

The Customer Service Sales Rep is a staff member of the Agency and not an employee of American Family Insurance. Position Overview The Customer Service Sales Rep role involves marketing, prospects, and selling American Family Insurance products across all product lines. This position focuses on maintaining effective customer relationships, understanding customer needs and matching them with appropriate product and service offerings.

The Customer Service Sales Rep is responsible for converting and developing opportunities in a supportive, lead-rich environment.

Key Responsibilities
∙Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and existing clients
∙Conduct insurance consultations and protection reviews via phone and in-person
∙Present and explain insurance options to help clients make informed decisions
∙Convert / close insurance leads across home, auto, life, and business lines
∙Maintain accurate client records and follow up on leads
∙Support clients through the application and onboarding process
∙Champion policy service requests and basic account maintenance

Insurance Service
∙Retains existing customers by providing industry leading customer experiences.
∙Ensures completion of requested account and policy updates and changes.
∙Coordinates the involvement of appropriate agency and or business partners when necessary to resolve customer issues.

Education/Licenses/Designations
∙A High School degree is minimum (prefers some college education)
∙Required by state statutes to have proper insurance licensing to sell, solicit or negotiate insurance products. The following lines of authority are required for this position: Property; Casualty; and Life; (Health is optional)
∙Valid driver’s license required.

Role Requirements
∙Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work.
∙Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
∙Excellent oral and written communication skills
∙Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.)
∙Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers.
∙Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, etc. ∙Demonstrated effective multi-line insurance prospecting and sales experience.

Working Conditions
